Had a nice dinner at Kyoto, the food was great, but the portions were on the small side especially for the price. It is certainly expensive but it’s worth it for the quality of the food. I would recommend trying this place out

Kyoto used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Although the food wasn’t bad, I was disappointed with the service. The waiter was not attentive and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We asked him if we could customize our sushi to only two ingredients and he looked at us like we were aliens asking for something impossible. In the end, he was able to prepare our "special" sushi, but overall the service was poor. We ordered hibachi and my soup was cold and salad wasn’t fresh. It's a shame because it used to be really good. The place was dirty. The atmosphere seemed very boring.

We have been going to Kyoto for many years. It is a small, discreet place that won us over. We love their menu. There is something for everyone in the family. The staff is nice and kind. Their sushi and sashimi has always been excellent. The bento boxes are more than enough for any one person. However, it feels that the quality has come down a notch in the last few months. We still go from time to time. We hope that they get quality back.

Sushi was fairly priced and affordable! Got the Salmon roll and Philadelphia roll as shown in pictures with my miso soup! Everything tasted fine the only thing that I could say was freshness. The cucumber in my sushi was very old and dry I could say? The miso soup had the lettuce in it and it tasted very old like it was left out of the fridge for over a day. The worker there was very tired considering it was the end of the day but all I asked for was an extra spoon and she turned away and sighed. It made me feel like I was a burden sitting there while the employees were watching me so I felt rushed to eat and leave. I don’t live close to this sushi shop but If I did I would probably just not order anything but sushi and never eat inside the restaurant again.

Kyoto was my favorite sushi restaurant. Emphasis on was. The last two times we have gone, we were very disappointed in the service. The only reason we went back was because we thought it was just an off night the first time we had a bad experience. Not only was the service poor, it became obvious that they had not placed our order. After finally inquiring about our food, we were told that the ticket did not get submitted to be filled. We were so disappointed. We left without eating due to the poor service we received as we waited and their response to the situation. We don’t live in the area (or state for that matter) but we were regulars when we did live locally. This restaurant clearly caters to take-out orders now so if you want to enjoy a sit down dinner at a sushi restaurant, go elsewhere so you won’t be disappointed like we were.

Always love coming to get some sushi and a nice miso soup. My boyfriend and I went here for our "K" restaurant for the A to Z Challenge. Love the Star Wars themed sushi rolls 🍥 My boyfriend was a huge fan of them 😋 and was delighted to see such creatively named rolls. Was why I took him there in the first place, really lol 🌌

Terrible!! This used to be one of the best sushi restaurants in town and have dined here many times before. Now it is poor takeout at best. For dine in, the service is terrible. Waited an hour only to find out that the order was never put in! First time I have ever walked out a restaurant without eating. One star is generous.

Best sushi in town! Can be different to find what's on certain rolls. The inside seems like it's a fast food joint but it's absolutely more high class than that!
